A wet day at Threlkeld

The day started wet - and got wetter! Forecast is suggesting four days of pretty heavy rain too! So we headed to Threlkeld quarry and mining museum for a few hours shooting textures, patterns and abstracts. The group really enjoyed the change to the landscape routine, and got into the spirit of the place. This shot is a newly drilled hole in a metal cylinder lit from the side with a head torch to bring out the texture of the swarf.
