Live is Best

A late night for me.  I am just back from Nelson where I went to see Midge Ure perform.  I wasn't really aware of his music but someone I met said he has been to Nelson before and puts on a really good evening of music.  It was good.  He played with two young guys from Devon supporting him.  One played the mandolin and the other played violin or piano.  Mr Ure played his guitar with great verve and sang his heart out.  He talked easily to the audience and I loved his scottish accent.    They performed in Old St Johns Church.  Not a huge audience but an appreciative one.
