Bloody medial tibial stress syndrome!!!!

Mollie entered the Gloucester 20 Mile today and when this picture was taken it was all going so well.  Unfortunately she had to retire before the finish due to bloody medial tibial stress syndrome, i.e. Shin Splints!


She was in a lot of pain and retiring was the most sensible thing to do.  She just needs to rest up for the next week or two to recover in preparation for April 23rd!!!
