The fruits of our labours!

Another grey and drizzly day so not much gardening today, although I did go up the ladder to lop off the conifers from the house behind that overhang our back fence.  This shows the progress (and Mr T's multicoloured fence panels!) we made this week.  Yesterday I pruned the ferns that were in the Pieris pots and cleared away all the leaves (bottom picture, bottom right corner).  Mr T is in the process of levelling the Lifeponds ready to plant up (plants on patio table at the back).  If you look closely you will see the bricks where the waterfall used to be and the frog was hiding.  In a couple of weeks Dad will come to help us plant the big acer in the green pot where the pond currently is, and we can reclaim a lot of garden.
