Saturday: Food Choices

Many thanks for your messages of concern about Max (yesterday's blip).  He's sort of OK but very dejected and isn't showing any interest in food.  He prefers to be curled up by himself in a corner so we're just keeping a watchful eye on him but trying not to bother him.

K. and I had some local errands to run this morning (library, vet, food shopping etc).  Later in the afternoon, we headed down Main Street.  It was nice to be out and about - the clocks changed while we were away so we have lighter evenings.  That, and a nice bright afternoon, made it feel like spring is gradually coming.

We went to 'Main Street Brewing' for a while and then followed that up with '33 Acres', another micro brewery.  Then on to the Australia New Zealand Bar, just on the next corner - someone had recommended it to us as a good place.  We loved it!  It's a downstairs bar, has some good beers on tap and very friendly people - it' sort of caters of Australian/NZ expats but is very welcoming to all.  That's definitely one to go back to - particularly has it has more of a pub atmosphere.  

Finally, dinner at 'Fable Diner' which is always a nice way to finish.

'33 Acres' has a deal with a food truck outside - these three hipster types were agonizing over their food choices.
