Light and shade

I fully intended to play with my camera today, to get an entry for the weekly challenge of Silhouette. But as usual, I ran out of time.

So here's a silhouette of bare tree branches, next to a brightly sunlit Scots pine, against a sky that was amazingly blue, having been grey and raining less than an hour before.

In other news, Iain drove out to visit his grandparents today, first time he's tackled that drive which is a mix of town and country roads, and he did very well.
