pic·to·graph ...
... "/ˈpiktəˌɡraf/
noun
A pictorial symbol for a word or phrase. Pictographs were used as the earliest known form of writing, examples having been discovered in Egypt and Mesopotamia from before 3000 bc"
One of my, oft repeated, "grunts & grummles" is how hard it is to buy something not "Made in China", but it's starting to look as if we'll need to learn Chinese too.
Thank the Lord for pictographs!
I used to think, in the good old days of metal tubes, (Which could be recycled, had it been in vogue) "Who needs a tube winder, just fold it over & over as you use it".
NOW they're made of Plastic, and won't stay folded. (Still recyclable, should you be so minded) it's nigh on impossible to locate one.
One thing they may tell you in the Chinese, but not in the pics. - It does NOT work without a little ingenuity.
Being plastic, there isn't the fold over end customary on the old metal ones; so the only way it will work, after 2-3 abortive attempts, is to make your own "fold-over", visible in left hand one if you look carefully.
