Edinample Falls
Like many falls around the Highlands this set are not easily seen from the roadside. In addition, not any one single view point affords a full appreciation of the total height drop. This view shows the lower step in a total drop which I would estimate to be about 30 metres. This "head" advantage was clearly not lost on some early engineers as you can see the remains of a very old hydro electric scheme penstock.
You can just see the outline of the Mausoleum at the top of the falls.
