The Power of the Internet

Last Sunday night I had a couple of hours to spare, so I decided to head out and capture some images - I headed over the Forth Bridge and towards North Queensferry, but once there my creative "juices" were just not flowing.

Headed back over the river and I was struck but the full moon reflecting of the water. Decided that it would possibly make a good photo so with that in mind I headed onto the Forth Bridge and out to capture it.

Once home (and editing completed) I published it onto my Facebook Photography Page and then shared it with a couple of groups that I am in.

Very soon the image had reached a couple of thousand folk which I was extremely delighted about......Soon after that another FB page Edinburgh Spotlight shared it onto their page and things just went a bit mad after that..

When I captured this image of my computer screen earlier, the total reach was just over 75000.

Its amazing how a picture can go viral so quickly and if you are interested in seeing the original image, you can see it a wee tad clearer .....  Here!!
