Birthday Session
This afternoon I went to a pub in Ellesmere where we had a music session to celebrate the joint 60th birthday of two folkie friends. At last night's ceilidh, instead of presents there was a collection for The Movement Centre (to help disabled children gain movement). Over £1000 was raised for this small local charity.
There were lots of musicians there (some of whom are in the photo) and we played some great tunes and had a bit of singing too. There was left over cheese and cake from last night too!
I must have been giving it some welly as one of the keys came out of my concertina. Luckily F is very handy and is going to have a go at mending it.
It's been a great weekend of music and dance.
