Aberfeldy Here We Come!

Bit of a leisurely start to the day considering we were getting organised to go away for a couple of nights with Agnes and Adrian.   Still managed to be ready on time though.  I am getting better at time management  :-))

Agnes and Adrian arrived and we left Johnny the Joiner working in the utility room and Alan in Karen's capable hands and looking forward to the arrival of Christine at 3.00pm.

We headed over to the golf club for a late lunch before driving the scenic route to Aberfeldy over the Sma' Glen.  The weather was lovely when we left but just as we passed Amulree, the mist closed in and there was a flurry of snow.  By the time we got to Aberfeldy it was a bit brighter again but that didn't last.  We just got in to our lodge as the rain started.

We hadn't been sure what to expect from the accommodation (we were staying at the Moness Resort) but it was lovely.  A cosy lodge with comfy sofas, very comfy beds, fluffy towels and spotlessly clean.  Perfect. 

Didn't take long to settle in and after deciding we would have a lazy night in, the Prosecco was opened and Adrian and David popped out to collect our dinner from the Terrace Bar restaurant, and delicious it was too.

It was so lovely to just totally chill with our best friends.  I can't honestly remember the last time we both felt so relaxed.  And the best bit was going to bed and NOT setting an alarm.  I honestly can't remember the last time we did that!
