Ingredients - Beetroot

The second in a series of patterns, using very soft focus here to concentrate on the colours and stripes rather than texture. This amazing beetroot is a candy stripe - so much more interesting than ordinary beetroot. I only eat beetroot raw in salads, can't stand the cooked or pickled stuff. I've grown this variety before, but this lot is from Waitrose who  always seem to have a more interesting vegetable range.
