LSO

It took me over an hour (instead of 25mins) to get to school this morning due to an accident and then an hour into my school day I was asked to accompany two other classes on a school trip. Grabbed my bag and coat and was whisked away to the awaiting coach and off we went to the Barbican.

We watched the London Symphony Orchestra perform music as they told the story of Stan and Mabel. A wonderful hour of watching this 'community' of people, who rehearse, share and perform together and today they shared their passion with several different school communities. All the children were between 5 ~ 7 years old and I thought it was great for them to experience a story being told through music.

An unexpected but enjoyable start to the week.
