A Community Treasure

I visit Brookside Gardens at least twice a week when I'm in town.  It's a public garden enjoyed by locals, tourists, school children, joggers, photographers and of course, wildlife.  It is a setting for wedding photos as well as selfies.  I can always find something to photograph there, and now I run into familiar faces.  Since these gardens are an example of community at it's best, I thought I would go there to get a mono shot.  I have done very few in black and white, so it isn't my best end product, but it felt good to try something new.
