Head-to-head

I've been collecting porters with the intention of getting Graeme round for a sampling and working out what, if anything needs to be done to the Brucehaven at the end there to lift it a notch. Having worked our way through all of them (plus two whose cans had been crushed before the photo), the answer was - nothing much. A bit of flaked barley or wheat to fill it out the body a bit. The Anchor was good, the Luckie Ales too but mainly, nah, especially the two in cans - one got reluctantly finished and the other ended up in the sink (Yeastie Boys South Pacific Porter, if names need to be named).
