Community

One of the communities I belong to is the group of volunteers who run our walking festivals. Tonight we had a meeting where 35 of us talked about the festival. Those on the committee described the work they do. We had a review of important issues for teams in preparation and delivery of their walks. We had a talk from Duncan Wise of The Sill Landscape Discovery Centre, which is being built near to Hadrian's Wall.

Most importantly we shared food and chat amongst us all. It seemed appropriate to add this image to today's Mono Monday challenge, "Community".

This morning I took Mum for a hospital appointment. More tests required, but the consultation was efficient and pleasant. We were home after shopping by mid morning.
