Caught up.....?

I saw a spider in my bathtub, so I got a piece of tissue and very carefully.....burned the house down.

Due to the unsually hot weather today all the bugs and creepy crawlies were out in abundance (there is a mozzie hiding in my room right now as I type, so I anticipate a sleepless night.....eeeek!) I spied this "little" fella hanging around outside the back garden.

I'm not usually a spider fan, but I can cope with the teeny guys and even with their gigantic brothers I never stamp or squish and will always perform the cup and card trick no matter how petrified I am!!!

I had to get quite close in order to snap this; my lens almost disturbing the web, but luckily, both he and I got away unscathed ;)

Somehow the killing of a giant spider, all alone by himself in the dark without the help of a wizard or the dwarves or anyone else, made a great difference to Mr. Baggins. He felt a different person, and much fiercer and bolder in spite of an empty stomach as he wiped his sword on the grass and put it back into its sheath.
