A few isolated snow showers

That's what the forecast told us last night. Somehow this hadn't let me to expect about 5" of snow when I opened the door this morning to let the dog out. We had an exciting dog walk going out of that gate and bouncing around in the snow. In many places it was higher than Flora due to drifting. However it seems we have a bouncy Romanian snow dog who loves all that white stuff and she was clever enough to walk in our footsteps although at times she jumped around above it.
