Tiny Tuesday

I met a friend for coffee at the local shopping centre this morning. After a good gossip and some retail therapy we decided to skip lunch and have a coffee and cake instead. We really wanted to try something from Zumbo of the patissier Adriano Zumbo fame. We chose 2 cakes and shared them - they were divine and I bought some macarons to take home to my sister who is having a birthday today.
The family met in the evening at a Middle Eastern / North African restaurant. The food was not as heavy as the usual Middle Eastern fare and the food combinations were interesting. I meant to take photos at the restaurant but didn't so a blip at home of the passionfruit and basil macaron saved the day.
