Jake was charging up this slope at full on puppy speed (which for those of you who've never tried to catch a puppy is like mach 1, or maybe mach 2 if the puppy is having a loopy moment) when he stopped. I took the moment to attach the lead because I knew what had made him stop. Diggers, big diggers, churning up the ground and clearing lots of trees, a lot of scary noise if you're still only wee.
