Wet and windy

Yes, a real March day - and it always rains when I go to the hairdressers!!
However, on the way home the sun shone - the countryside looked very beautiful - but I couldn't stop to blip as I was driving down a minor country road!
I went into a shop which sells lamps. We are looking for a new table lamp for the sitting room, but as our current one has a 100 watt bulb, a new one needs to be fairly bright. The kind shop assistant was very helpful, showing me charts and talking about "lumens".  But these new LED and halogen bulbs are VERY confusing!! 
So no new lamp yet. I have yet to have a light bulb moment!!
