Jess

CyclopsJnr received this 'Postman Pat with built in Jess puppet' book from his Grandma.  CyclopsJnr adores Jess.  Here is CyclopsJnr putting his gloves on Jess's paws.  You'll note he is also dressed as a reindeer.

CyclopsJnr understands that Jess is a puppet because he brings it to me and says "put your hand in Jess Mummy" but then he interacts with Jess as if he (CyclopsJnr says Jess is a he) was his friend.  He brings over toys to show to Jess and says "look at  this Jess" or "hold this Jess" and he likes to do things for Jess to react to - and it is my job to ensure the correct reaction happens of course.  A favourite is to show Jess a toy bin lorry and for Jess to say "urgh it smells go away" or pretend to vomit or hide back inside the book.  CyclopsJnr thinks this is hilarious.

CyclopsJnr has always liked a laugh, but he is starting to make his own jokes now which we love.  He likes to walk along a wall then do an exaggerated wobble and say "careful on the edge".  Today he made some very cheeky remarks about something - that actually smelled like strawberry - smelling like poo.
