Breakfast
I woke up last Saturday morning with my throat feeling like I’d been eating barred wire. I had been into Manchester with some friends of Irish descent on Friday (17th) to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day - in the usual fashion, by going to a Tapas Bar – but I don’t think that had anything to do with the sudden onset of a sore throat. It is annoying because I’ve gone through the whole winter without as much as a runny nose – which I put down to no longer going to work in an office with an air circulation system that ensures if one person sneezes, everyone gets a cold.
So on Saturday I just went back to bed for most of the day – and so no blip. And no blips for the next few days either, since I have hardly ventured out. But today I am feeling a bit better and I did manage a walk to the park, just in time to see the herons having frogs for breakfast!
