Unlike this blip, my day has not been prickly at all - on the contrary.

I've been gathering paperwork to start the process of getting mine registered as a foreign birth - for my Irish passport.

The place I found doing identity photos could not have been more helpful and spent ten minutes telling me how much they love the Irish! 
I'm taking that as a good omen. The woman even started her own little Saint Patrick's day jig! All very amusing and a good distraction from the actual photos which are never good.

Off to see Fences tonight. Hope I can stay awake!
