5000 km in Italy

This is just an ordinary street in Kamloops but today it is very special to me. This is the spot where I reached the 5000 km mark today on my virtual walk around Italy. To keep myself motivated when getting my exercise I decided about 19 months ago to record the distance I walk daily wherever I am and mark it out on a map of Italy. I began at the Freyjus tunnel on the Italian/French border and now I am just past Cavalese having walked down one side of Italy, around Sicily, and back up the other side. The motivation is working for me and in the process I am learning a lot about Italy.
