Custard slice Sorrento style
Ah, the perks of ministry.
I was invited to join the fellowship group on a daytrip across the bay for lunch. We used the ferry to cross as foot passengers from Queenscliff to Sorrento.
One of the stated goals was to each eat one of these huge custard slices in a famous Sorrento cafe.
Goal achieved!
Friendly company and good humoured conversation made the day for me. I had to leave early to revert from vicar to school mum, but it was worth braving heavy rain and dubious weather forecasts to join in the fun.
