When spring and autumn cross paths

I love it when the seasons connect and this  autumn leaf, still attached to the branch seems to be holding the little catkins lovingly in its cupped shape - or could it be the catkins holding onto the leaf? There are so many lovely things to see on my walks. My camera teaches me to slow down and really observe the beauty around me!
Walking is my favourite simple pleasure and can be done in all seasons!
