Comiston Road
The last Cigs spot coincided with what I described as "a pointless meaningless meeting of no consequence whatsoever".
Well, lucky ole me had another one of those today; and after I left to do battle with snow showers and sunny spells found this one.
As I headed off from the meeting, head stuffed with corporate babble bullshit and stupefied by the stifling atmosphere, I was suddenly jolted back to life as I spotted this out of the corner of my eye.
I used to live on Comiston Terrace, so I swung left in there and abandoned the car (I know, I know, the car?? The weather really was that bad..) and nabbed this one.
In seconds all thoughts of the new annual appraisal and the Conflict of Interest policy were forgotten - the smile returned. (Personally I think we have a a greater need for a Conflict of Lack of Interest Policy)
Onwards to Oxgangs (not been there in an age); to Sighthill and Broomhouse; before the more familiar sights and sounds of Gorgie hove into view.
Dribbly white paint; really rather faded; undated. Probably 2013.
Now the question remains. Where are the others that were done in this area? There must be more than one. Surely? I have a return to Firrhill on Thursday; an extended prowl is on the cards.
It's either that or wait until the next meeting on 20th April (0900; room C47) for a further update.
