High winds, Derwentwater
A lovely day with sunny spells, but high winds did mean those in my group trying long exposure techniques with less than sturdy tripods did struggle to get sharp images.
This image is with a big-stopper (and 0.6 hard edged grad over the sky, and a 0.6 soft edged grad mounted sideways as the sun is just out of shot on the left)
As the clouds were not showing sufficient movement on a 25 second exposure, I tried a 6-shot multi exposure to extent the exposure to 3 minutes, and record the cloud trails. The waves (which you could probably surf on) were breaking clean over the grasses in the foreground.
