Thunderstorms and Lightning

What an awesome storm to watch tonight. This is the first time I have ever photographed lightning and I took over 500 shots.
The storm stayed over Christchurch for ages then moved out to sea missing us completely.
Our son called to say they had huge hailstones which have gone through the plastic on his new car.
