Looking for an old prescription to see what statins I'd be prescribed in 2010, I did have to stop them abruptly after 4 days because of the way I felt on them, I came across a letter in response to a letter Blaine had written to the Queen back when we were living in SA, when he was 9. Sweet memories.

So had my annual medical review yesterday;

Blood pressure sky high - monitor kept in getting error message so had to be redone manually.

Cholesterol sitting at 8.4 so quite a bit up from last year at 7.6

Kidneys in the 'red', which means I don't drink enough water.

Nurse says I've to see the Dr so have appointment mid April until then and my next blood test I need to get my cholesterol down so I've order plant sterols, co-enzyme q10 and Cod Liver capsules, not sure they'll make a diff in two weeks but got to try. I cannot go back on those awful statins.

Have been forcing myself to drink plenty water since then, so hope that sorts out kidneys.

Blood pressure was probably high due to the thoughts of going back on statins so not too concerned about it.

Time to watch my food intake again.
