Tower Bridge

I'm back in London just for a couple of days with work. Last time I was here was at the beginning of the Olympics; this time it is the second week of the Paralympics. Last time Tower Bridge had the giant Olympic rings suspended from it; this time it is the Paralympic Games logo. It has been brilliant to see how London has really got behind the Paralympics; the games are really big here. I hope that translates into greater awareness for disabled sport worldwide.

I also hope the boos that George Osborne, the Chancellor who has presided over massive budget cuts to disability/welfare funding, was greeted with when he was announced as the presenter of the medals for one of the events gives our terrible government a wake up call as to the damage they are doing to our most vulnerable.
