Spring bloom

This is indeed a shot which I took earlier today of a flower in bloom. However, we have had to come to southern Spain to witness it. We have travelled from chilly central Scotland to the sun and warmth of Malaga although there has been a chill in the shadows and with the wind.

We spent the afternoon at the museum of Picasso where prices from though out his life were on show. He was a remarkable artist and his work is well presented in the museum. We have perhaps been overexposed to his work and the experience stopped short of a sense of wonder but worthwhile nonetheless.

We spent the rest of the afternoon walking around the narrow streets of central Malaga into the park where this bird of paradise was showing off. We shall shortly set off to find a restaurant - we may be spoiled for choice.
