Hail hail!

Glorious Spring day but as I drove home, the clouds gathered. We had a spectacular thunder and lightening storm but despite 200 photos, there wasn't one that showed the forks in a way that did it justice.

Then the hail fell for about 5 minutes. Very noisy. And then it was over. Very odd!

Two years today since Christchurch's magnitude 7.1 quake. A lot has happened since.
