In the Staff Room

I like a friendly school staff room. Today I ran a professional development training session at a Junior school in Peterborough. These positive statements and a Staff Shout Out Board where staff could write little notes of praise or thanks to each other were just 2 of the ways of encouraging a positive staff.

This positive attitude could be seen in the pupils. As I stood in reception waiting for a teacher a class of 9 year olds walked by. Most of them greeted me..."are you a visitor, welcome to our school, good to meet you, hello how are you". It was delightful.
