Safe House
I don't really know what to say about the terrorist attack today in London. It happened just as Carl and Jackson were arriving at a hospital appointment in the centre of town. Fortunately they were not in that area and we are all safely in our home this evening. I know it is has nothing at all to do with today but as someone who moved to London when the IRA were regularly bombing us it seems somehow especially odd the news being full of a terror attack the day after the news was full of nothing but Martin McGuinness.
In more local news, I joined a gym and went for a very lovely evening swim. Jackson had a very good appointment with a rehabilitation unit who will hopefully be able to support him with occupational therapy and physiotherapy. Anna is beyond excited about playing at tomorrow's London Youth Games. I'll have to check in with Carlos what his good thing is, though he was pleased with the hospital appointment and I think may have fixed a project that has been having issues for a while. And not sure Albi would agree but I was delighted with her lack of muddiness following our walk in the pouring rain this morning.
