Ancient map

An opportunity to explore the area of Chapelhillock outside Stuartfield today with some Book of Deer colleagues, and to view some really old maps of the area that belong to the local laird. This one dates from 1801 before the village of Stuartfield was built and shows clearly the area of interest to us, and the chapel well which we also visited. A very interesting morning and a break from the campaign trail, before the news broke of the horrific events in London this afternoon.
