Bell Rock....

....in Red Rock State Park.
Had a nice, smooth flight to Phoenix, where we landed half an hour ahead of schedule. However, all the gates were taken, so the half hour we gained in the air was lost as we sat on the runway until a gate opened up. Took the shuttle over to the car rental building where I met WomanWalking and MaryElizaR, got our rental car and headed North about two hours to Red Rock State Park ( with a few stops along the way for lunch and photo ops). We hiked one of the trails in the Park, which was full of beautiful vistas in every direction, and which is where I took this photo of Bell Rock. (you can see why the Park is called Red Rock Park!)    A really fun first day!! :))
