Hiding

It was snug as a bug in a rug. Hidden underneath a Geranium leaf until Mrs Booty did a spot of tidying around the garden and discovered it.

Any ideas what it is? There is a larvae/chrysalis inside the cocoon you can just see the end at the left hand side, it gets anti when prodded. Must be a female.
