FORTY SHADES OF GREEN:

Hydrangea Annabelle is really a beautiful cream, but in the afternoon sun & next to Cornus Cherokee Sunset, it has taken on a greenish tinge. I am up at the top garage where we keep all the garden furniture, tables & chairs (& whisper it) a new John Deere mower which I shouted myself for Christmas - a smaller model than my old one - & good for cutting in between the trees. Peter still uses the big one on the lawns. There is a big expanse of lawn between the house & this garage. If you asked me to name my favourite hydrangea, I would have to say Annabelle. She is quite beautiful !
