The end of the first day . . .

The start of a new year, a new start, new resolutions and new plans. There have been lots of changes in my life recently, and I am happier and more relaxed than I have been for many a year. There are problems still to be overcome, and there will be difficulties along the way, but I can see where I want to be heading, so that is a start!

We went to see friends for lunch and had a lovely walk just as the sun was going down. In the distance, over Scapa Flow, you could see the rain clouds, but it managed to stay dry where we were. A super day and a happy start to the new year.

I hope everyone has a great 2009 . . . . I intend to do my best!
