St Albans: Stained Glass Light
St Albans Cathedral: sunlight shining through a stained glass window dapples the memorial tablet of one "William King Esq of Fineshade in the County of Northampton who died on the 10th day of March 1766 aged 60 years".
His memorial inscription records that "He bore a long tedious and painful Illness with the greatest Fortitude Patience & Resignation."
