Katie in the Luminarium

We visited the utterly amazing Luminarium by the Architects of Air on it's short visit to Preston. It is a big enclosed maze, full of different coloured sections and pods. The bright colours are caused by the light shining through different sections of coloured plastic (red, blue and green) and as the light outside changes so does the light inside. It was a place of wonder... and we spent about an hour in there. Walking round we spotted people lying down for a nap, children crawling on the floor, people just spending time in the magical environment. We even did a few jumping shots.

Something about taking off your shoes to go in makes it feel like you are a child too!

Highly recommend you visit if you ever get a chance, I think it tours worldwide.
