First Day

Woke this morning with my son who was over the moon to be starting Comprehensive, funny all morning my Facebook was littered with kids starting infants, juniors and comps and their parents all posting pictures!
It is a big day for them, and also for us the parents as you just pray they enjoy it and get on with their new friends. Not long now and he will be home, and I cannot wait to ring him to see how he got on. Not that he will say much as kids never do!


BTW I personally think he looks a bit scruffy in this photo, but the way things are today if he dressed any different he would get called names and looked down upon, quite sad really I think they should be made to wear their shirts tucked in and their ties tied properly!
