Going down

We visited the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford,  or to be more precise the "From Degas to Picasso" art exhibition.

Photography was forbidden but I grabbed this shot through a window of the impressive modern part of the museum.  I gave it a bit of high key treatment and rather like the minimalist result.

Extra is an ale that I couldn't resist when we went for lunch in an excellent pub (can you see why?)  I have to say it was excellent
