Hexham Tourism Fair

Today I was at the Hexham Tourism Fair.

This is an opportunity for businesses to display their wares. Accommodation providers come and take leaflets for their guests. Crafters come and sell their goods. Most importantly for us, it is an opportunity to network with other people.

We may have 3 new advertisers after today. We also heard about a quarterly meeting where the footpaths officers come to hear concerns about access. (Who knew that this happened?) There were lots of friendly people and it was exhausting!

Brian, our chairman, produced the display and I made the photo album that showed on a loop all day.

It was great to be able to tell people that we have already cracked previous booking records for the Spring Festival.

I felt pretty well this morning but the sinuses attacked back this afternoon.....

Time for a restful evening.
