A whole lotta garbage and the spiders from Mars

Spent most of the day emptying slurry channels. Had to start using the pump, but later in the season than before (I think) and it went quite well.

More crap in the evening, a visit to the Tammervoima garbage power plant in Tarastenjärvi, Tampere. An impressive place. The garbage well is 30 metres deep, they burn 20 tons of garbage (from 650 000 people!) every hour... The rate of recycling is very high, they even recycle a major share of the moisture in the garbage.

The spiders mix the garbage well to dry the stuff before they lift it to the huge oven.
