June in September

today was the first day I felt like I was in control of the jet leg...walked around a bit in central Guangzhou, got lost on the metro, sketched the Canton tower which would of been my blip had I not met June.
She is the cousin of the guy I m staying with here...and it was her birthday so along with her boyfriend attended her birthday meal at a rather classy restaurant...of course, with chicken heads and other strange combinations of meats, tofu and vegetables...only possible in china, maybe?!

This picture was taken at the end of the meal...she spoke fantastic English albeit american...it's the days you don't plan that turn out to be the best...
