Zipline

Today, Sean and I had the opportunity to ride the zip lines at Gunstock Mountain Resort in New Hampshire. Our friend, Matt, works in these towers and was able to provide us with a discount. There were 3 zips in the tour, the one pictured here is "The Big One" - which is the 4th longest in the world.

You can just see the two black lines in the photo, those are the lines we will be flying along at speeds up to 55 mph. If you follow along those lines, you can just see a brown spot in the distance where there is a break in the trees. That is our landing zone - nearly a mile away.

The height had me a little freaked out, but when they said "go", I pulled down on the handle and went flying - full-speed ahead! It was an exhilarating ride.
