Kids
I went back to Lincluden today to take photos of the Abbey without the footie players. Greeted by a troupe of kids who were climbing all over the ruins. I went to see the tomb of Princess Margaret, daughter of Robert III of Scotland, who died in the 1450s. The children all wanted their photos taken on the tomb. They were quite at home here, and wanted to know all about me and Sarah, where we lived and what we were doing. Did anyone ever tell them off for playing here? I asked. Yes, they did. " But we sprint faster!"
